HTTPS means your connection is secure, but it does not mean that your web server is secure. Imagine driving in a tunnel. The tunnel protects your vehicle and does not allow accidents from the top and around your car. However, when you reach your destination, you may have problems. The same is true of data. Your data is encrypted so that it is not stolen during the transfer process, but SSL no longer makes sense when this information is stored on a server.
